Dee Dee Fowler
Born in Hope, Arkansas, raised in Kansas City Kansas, Dee Dee Fowler was raised listening to Gospel music and the sounds of R&B sensations like, Aretha Franklin, Patty LaBelle, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, and Whitney Houston. Dee Dee became hypnotized with the sounds of soulful music. At the age of eight, Dee Dee was standing in front of the bathroom mirror with a hairbrush, trying to imitate the sounds that she had been so in love with. At the age of 13, Dee Dee because a member of The Agape Outreach Christian Center, which is now know as Agape New Beginnings Church in Kansas City Kansas, where was given the opportunity to use this voice that she had developed to sing in her church choir.
Dee Dee was recently given the opportunity to sing for the band “Platinum Express.” She believes that “Platinum Express” has helped her to develop her skill, and overcome a shyness that she has tried to overcome her entire life. To Dee Dee, “Platinum Express,” consist of a combination of all of the best musical talent and leadership in the Kansas City area. This has been an overwhelming experience for her. Dee Dee is very excited about the opportunity to work with and to entertain so many people.
